About Me

Inspired by the genre of magical realism, Lio Chan is an independent illustrator and sequential artist interested in conveying what is left unsaid through dreaming and imagination. They are drawn to the malleability of human relationships and the stubbornness of habits. When they are not frantically setting up at Artist Alleys or thinking about the queer condition, Lio likes to write long-winded blog posts about the latest show they've watched or comic they've read.

As a recent graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, Lio is versatile in graphic design, 2D animation, and narrative illustration. Lio is seeking opportunities to apply their enthusiasm to production work in professional environments. They are currently living in Providence, Rhode Island, and Corona del Mar, California.
