Puppy Playdate — Short Film
Puppy Playdate is a traditionally animated short film project using the cut-out technique, along with modified base clay animation. This project was done for RISD's Animation Practices class in 2023.
The story focuses on two strangers who meet each other on the subway, but are too shy to talk to one another. The dogs on their t-shirts take matters into their own hands.
This is the Second Death — Short Film Trailer & Pitch Deck
This is the Second Death is a group project done during my senior year at Rhode Island School of Design for a Pre-Production Animation class. This project features an animated trailer and a pitch deck, which covers a general information about our proposed short film, storyboards, character and setting design, concept art, inspirations, and socio-political context, and more. The animated trailer was animated in mix-media, featuring clay animation, digital 2D animation & compositing, paper animation, and pixilation. My role in this project was to schedule due dates, organize and lead meetings, fully assemble, write, and design the pitch deck, as well as animating digital scenes, drawing traditional media stills, and fully composing the sound design.
Below are some snippets from the project pitch deck. To view the full pitch deck, click the red button.
Various — Animation Practices
A selection of shorter exercises done for various courses and extracurricular projects that demonstrate my interests in subject matter as well as my abilities in different techniques of animation.
Done from 2021-2024.
